Design a website that is simple to use with image thumbnails that will download fast into the browser. Make the website search engine friendly and start a google adwords campaign. Make the site interactive with a blog and social media connections. Make it possible to sell prints online and digital files to download. Use very little flash content to make the site iPad friendly. Expand the pureprints website with a training website. Get more leads and more sales for pureprints.com and pureprintstraining.co.uk.

Web Design

The site is designed using PHP with a SQL database. The main colours are black,white and grey. The design is composed to make the top third of the page interesting to viewers. A slideshow including music plays as soon as the homepage is loaded. Low resolution Images load up instantly to give instant interest. The site is HTML/CSS and search engine friendly. The website has a back end that allows the webmaster of the site to update the pages.

Gallery Design For Images

A google adwords campaign was started and the keywords monitored for twelve months. Onsite meta tags and search engine friendly content was added. An offsite backlink system was implemented to boost page rank. Content was added slowly to move up the rankings on google. A blog was added to gain internet presence and connection with customers.

www.purperints.com is ranked on the first page for the targeted keywords 99% of the time. The website has booked over 130 weddings directly from search engine marketing and google adwords. The return on investment has made Richard Barley Photography grow quickly with low overheads for advertising. The return on investment is 90% in the first three years. pureprints.com is now a portal for photographers who aspire to be wedding photographers. The plan for the next three years is to expand the team of photographers and training provided.
